Marion (Joanna) Floyd, a longtime resident of Norman, Oklahoma passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at her home with family by her side. Joanna was born on April 29, 1929 to Mildred and Robert Flues. Joanna was married to Robert (Bob) Floyd in 1955 in Detroit Michigan, and moved to Norman in 1972 to raise and train American Quarter Horses. They enjoyed a 49-year marriage before Bob passed in 2005.

Their family includes Sara Floyd Baber, Catherine and Gary Sharp, John and Elizabeth Floyd, Brian Robert Floyd, and grandchildren Melissa McGuire, Skye Baber, Kelsey Baber, and Micah Floyd.

Joanna enjoyed a successful career in residential real estate, and was active in Junior League of Norman, Crosspoint Church, and volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and Food and Shelter for Friends.
