Roxie Ann Flowers began her journey in Heaven on December 23, 2022, at the age of 69. Roxie was born on January 31, 1953, in Phoenix, AZ to Cecil Calvin Sr. and Janie Mina (Williams) Flowers. Roxie graduated from Peoria, AZ high school and later moved to Bryan County in 2000. She worked most of her life as a waitress until her retirement. She later worked at various jobs but most recently for the Choctaw Nation at the Casino. She was a member of Cobb Baptist Church, and she enjoyed fishing, sewing, and doing all types of crafts. She was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and she deeply loved and treasured her family.
Roxie is preceded in death by her parents; son Rodney David Hubbard; brothers Cecil Calvin Flowers Jr., Rodney Gale Flowers, and Jerry Gene Flowers and sister Joy Flowers.
Roxie is survived by her daughter Kelly Hubbard and wife Lori; brother Ronald Dean “Duck” Flowers and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Roxie’s life will be held at the home of Steve and Birdie Flowers 511 North 3rd St. in Calera, OK on January 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM. All family and friends are welcome. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
