Darwin Edmond Flock
December 27, 1946 ~ January 27, 2021

Darwin Edmond Flock, 74 year old resident of Shattuck, OK, passed from this life on January 27, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Darwin was born December 27, 1946 to Ed Flock and Lola Maxine States in Woodward, OK. He was raised on the family farm north of Bishop School near the Texas line. He attended school at the Bishop School and Higgins High School.

On March 15, 1969, Darwin married Patricia Fite on the family farm. To this union two sons were born Darwin Patrick and Chaddus Allen. The family lived on the family farm, Amarillo, Tx, Spain, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia. He worked as a driller in the oilfield and owned a gas station. Darwin served in the Army and was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the church in Higgins, TX and Arnett, OK. In his spare time Darwin loved to fish.

Darwin is preceded in death by his parents Ed Flock and Lola States, two sons Darwin Patrick Flock and Chaddus Allen Flock, grandparents Harley and Daisey States, granddaughter Jordan Flock, brother Clovis Smith, and sister Kay Jones.

He is survived by his wife of the home Patricia Flock; three grandchildren Jancee White and husband Drae of Dallas, TX, Dalton Flock of Stephenville, TX, and Jessica Flock of Montrose, CO; eight great-grandchildren; an aunt and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
