June 30, 1930 ~ September 18, 2018 

Billie Jean Fletcher-Meyers, 88 year old Gage resident, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Enid. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Minneapolis Cemetery in Walsh, Colorado. At the conclusion of the burial, family and friends are invited to a meal and visit at Ronnie and Charlee Jeans home, 27277 County Road 25.1, Springfield, Colorado.

Billie Jean (Burton) Fletcher-Meyers was born June 30, 1930 in Bethany, Oklahoma to William Lem and Una Vivian (Brian) Burton. She grew up in Rogers, Arkansas and attended school there. She was united in marriage to Charles H. Fletcher on December 15, 1951 in Rogers, Arkansas. She made her home in Colorado until they divorced.

In 1971, Billie Jean moved to Hedgesville, West Virginia where she opened a health food store. She loved teaching people healthy living. On January 29, 1996, she was married to Otto (Bob) Meyers in Winchester, Virginia. In 2001 they came to Shattuck, Oklahoma and fell in love with northwest Oklahoma. They went home to Virginia and sold everything and moved to Shattuck, where she enjoyed gardening and canning. They bought the Smith place outside of Gage and have lived there since that time.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was very involved in the prison ministry through the church. Billie Jean loved being with her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Bob Meyers of the home; daughters: Charlee Jean Willey and husband Ronald Miller, Sandra Ruppenthal and husband Samuel, Amanda Dorenkamp; son in law Larry Allen; one brother Fred Burton and wife Mary Ann; one sister Janice Frandsen and husband Lynn; five grandchildren: Gena Willey, Jessica Willey Beard and husband Gale, Yvonne Ruppenthal Brock and husband Brian, Clay Dorenkamp and wife Jackie, Megan Dorenkamp; five great-grandchildren: Micah Morales, Tomas Ordaz, Corrine Ordaz, Shiloh Beard, Siena Beard; three great-great grandchildren: Manuel, Madelyn, and Analiyah; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Vivian Fletcher Allen, son, Clifford Rex Fletcher, a daughter Donna Jo Fletcher, and a grandson Michael Charles (Turk) Willey.
