Bobby Joe Fletcher

August 23, 1927 ~ July 19, 2008

Bobby Joe Fletcher, 80 of Sunnyside, WA died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at his home. He was born August 23, 1927 in Stilwell, OK to Ellis and Ella (Rather) Fletcher and was a grandson of B.G. and Harriett Fletcher.

He was a member of the 1946 Stilwell High School graduating class. He served in the U.S. Army and Reseres for 35 years. On July 4, 1956, Bobby Joe married Helen Kaiser in Grandview, WA. He worked for the Grandview Safeway plant for 11 years. He retired from the Sunnyside Post Office after 20 years. He was the main dealer trade driver for C Speak Motors, Inc., in Sunnyside.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Katherine Olney, and one brother; Harold Fletcher.

He is survived by his wife; Helen Fletcher of Sunnyside, one aunt; Jackie Martin of Palm Springs, CA., sister-in-law; Rose Fletcher of White Plains, NY., and several nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no formal funeral service. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
