May 15, 1941 ~ June 10, 2020 (age 79)

James Russell Fleming Jr., age 79, of Lawton passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

James was born on May 15, 1941 in Dover, Delaware to James and Mary Fleming. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force / Air National Guard from 1959 until 1999 and moved to Lawton in 1999. James was a caring father and partner in life. He enjoyed bowling and gardening but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Fleming; his parents, James and Mary Fleming and one stepdaughter, Natalie Peters, James is survived by his dearest love, Peggy Towne; one daughter, Heather Rivera; two stepsons, Frank Giliberto and Joey Giliberto; two granddaughters, Lani and Amber; three grandsons, Dan, AJ and Brendon; stepdaughter, Trish McKinney; stepson, Terry Towne; two step granddaughters, Ashleigh and Bella and two step grandsons, Chris and Joseph along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
