Delsie Irene (Scott) Fleetwood
October 13, 1939 ~ April 5, 2022

Delsie Irene (Scott) Fleetwood of Westville, Oklahoma, age 82, moved to her Heavenly home on April 5, 2022, in Fayetteville, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones. She in now, rejoicing with the Lord.

She was born October 13, 1939, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Homer and Jessie (Murrell) Scott.

Irene grew up on a farm and learned to work hard at an early age. She was a trusted worker, sometimes working two jobs to support her family. After other office jobs in abstracting, billing retail sales and general office work. She retired from the Admissions and Billing Office at Stilwell Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service.

She was a generous person who always tried to help others. Her door was always open to her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the true love and joy of her life. She also enjoyed crocheting while able, reading, crossword puzzles, and old movies.

She was a long-time member of the Westville Assembly of God.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Jessie Scott; one son: Kevin Scott Deason; three sisters: Virginia Dunlap, Vera Deason, and Jean Lowe; two brothers: Homer “Dee” Scott and Billy Ray Scott; great grandson: Hoyt Deason; and one son in law: Gary Johnson.

Irene is survived by two daughters: Lori Johnson of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Lana Trentham of Gentry, Arkansas; twin sister: Lorene Clinton of Baron, Oklahoma; and brother: Bob Scott of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren: Jeffrey Johnson and wife Amy, Michael Deason and wife Lacey, Heath Deason and wife Rose, Jamie Lynn Johnson, and Alecia Bradshaw and husband Andrew. Fourteen great grandchildren: Cally and Rachel Clay, and Brooklynn Johnson; Matthew and wife Olia, Caitlyn, Micah, Ryver, and Cody Deason; Chevelle, Manoah, and Bethany Deason; Zadie Lynn Harris; Isabella and Benjamin Bradshaw; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive her.

Funeral Service was held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2022 at Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
