Peggy Sue (Nichols) Fisher

The service celebrating the life of Peggy Sue Fisher, 82, of Enid, Okla., will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 16, 1931, to Claude and Ettie Wilson Nichols in Drumright, Okla., and passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, in Enid. She graduated from Drumright High School in 1949. She married William �Bill� Fisher on Oct. 28, 1949, in Cushing, Okla., where they made their home. They later moved to Perry and then Enid in 1961. She enjoyed being a homemaker and helping Bill run the family business, Fisher Production Services. She liked to play cards and dominoes with family and friends. Her greatest joy was watching all of her grandkids participate in sports and activities.

In years past, she was a member of Ladies Petroleum Club and several bowling and golfing teams. She and Bill also were involved with the Antique Car Club of Enid.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Fisher and wife Kelly of Enid, and Danny Fisher and wife Alana of Oklahoma City; daughters, Paula Olmstead and husband Eddy of Enid, Sandy Painter and husband Jim of Enid, and Karen Tracy and husband Cliff Jones of Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2012.
