James Franklin "Jim" Fisher

October 20, 1944 ~ August 8, 2005

Services: Fri., Aug. 12, 9:00 a.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for James Franklin "Jim" Fisher, 59, who passed away August 8, 2005.

Jim was born on October 20, 1944, in Atoka, OK and resided in Kern County for 58 years. He worked as a loader for Golden Bear Oil for six years. He loved doing woodwork and had a great love of long distance bicycling.

Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents and son, Porter Wells Fisher. He is survived by his son, Ryan Fisher of Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Marylou and Peter Painter of Bakersfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lonn and Diane Fisher of California Hot Springs; nieces and nephews Marie, Cindy, Jill, Peter Jr., Susan and Chris.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Beverly Manor for all the care they gave to Jim.

Visitation begins Thursday, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
