Delbert Earl Fish
June 15, 1952 ~ February 5, 2020

Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Delbert Earl Fish, 67, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Delbert was born June 15, 1952 in Liberal, Kansas, the second of three children to Roy Fish and Gladys (Staker) Fish. He resided with his family on a farm near Turpin, Oklahoma until at age 13 he was admitted to Enid State School (NORCE). While at NORCE he would go home to the family farm and enjoy time with extend family, but was he always excited to go back to school after a day or two. Delbert remained at NORCE until June 29, 2010 when he moved to his residence at Fountain Head Drive in Enid, and was cared for by Better Life, Better Care Staff. His wonderful caregivers contributed to his happiness and quality of life, for which his family will always be grateful. His cat, Princess, was a true joy in his life and a comfort to him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Fish.

Delbert is survived by two sisters, Roena Merriss and husband Bill, of Amarillo, TX; Geneva Apsley and husband Kenneth, of Vancouver, WA; as well as four nephews, Marshall Merriss, John Merriss, Joshua Apsley, Justin Apsley and their spouses; two nieces Geneva-Kae Snyder, Marcie Merriss and other family and friends.

Memorial's in Delbert's name may be made to Better Life, Better Care with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
