Melissa Ann “Missy” Fink, age 59 of Wayne, passed away unexpectedly February 20, 2023. She was born on April 1, 1963 in Hobart, Oklahoma, the oldest of three children born to Teddie Lee Fink and Flora Ann (Hearrell) Fink. She spent her younger years in Mustang where she attended school and graduated with the Broncos Class of 1981.
She was the proud mother of two daughters, Kelli and Sierra. Missy stayed busy and was always working to provide for her family. She worked in numerous industries and in various roles, from childcare to a shop inspector for Lucent Technology. She was fiercely independent and never shy of her opinions. You never had to wonder what she was thinking, as she always made sure to get her point across. Missy was strong and a fighter, and took on all that life could give her with her chin up. She was also very caring and nurturing, and a mother to everyone. She cherished her girls, and was especially a proud Grandmother of Estan, although her family would tell you that she cherished her fur baby, Pablo Escabar above them all. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Fink and her sister, Melody Ann Darrow.
Missy is survived by her daughters Kelli Fink of Purcell and Sierra Ryans (Dashanna) of Norman; mother, Flora Fink of Mutang; brother, Richey Fink of Wanette; one grandson, Estan; five grand fur-babies and several other beloved friends and family members.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 24, 2023 at
Little’s Chapel in Purcell.
