Sonja Findley, 83, of Skiatook, OK, passed away on May 29, 2025, at her residence. She was born on October 07, 1941 in Ottawa, KS to her loving parents, Knoelton Charles Honn and Jeannie (Hercules) Honn. Sonja graduated from High School in Kansas before her family relocated to Oklahoma, where she spent the rest of her life.
Sonja had a passion for various activities, including fishing, garage selling, playing bingo, and her unwavering love for OU football. She found joy in these hobbies and shared her enthusiasm with those around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Knoelton Charles Honn and Jeannie (Hercules) Honn, as well as her siblings, George, Dick, Casey, and Ginger.
Sonja is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Tina Kennemer (Butch), son Clayton Findley (Mary), and her cherished grandchildren, Lacey Skaggs (Austin), Chasity Johnson (Lawrence), Wyatt Findley, Harlie Findley (Chase), and Kiersten Findley. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Levi Ward, Logan Ward, Lillian Johnson, Jetson Stivers, and Charli Skaggs.
In addition to her immediate family, Sonja is survived by her siblings Jack Honn, Phil Honn, Rick Honn, Toni Honn, Carolyn Burton, Nancy Thornburg, and Dixielee Willis.
She will be deeply missed by her family and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth. Sonja's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
