Jeannie Ella (Howe) Fifield

Feb. 21, 1943 ~ Dec, 25, 2005

Jeanne Ella Fifield, 62, of Stilwell, died Sunday evening, Dec, 25, 2005, in Stilwell.

She was born in Keene, N.H., on Feb. 21, 1943, the daughter of Edward Aldrich and Barbara (Metcalf) Howe.

She owned and operated the B&J's Restaurant in Stilwell, for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Isolde Clough of Stilwell; a daughter, Karen Most of Minot, N.D.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Marcellus and Pat Howe Jr. of Springfield, Mass., and Robert and Pat Aldrich of Iola, Kan.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Larry Jacobsen and Linda and Harold Secord, all of Winchester; four grandchildren, Christian and Anna Clough, and Tarah and Troy Most; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her parents, her stepfather, Marcellus Howe, a daughter, Pam Clough, and two brothers, Marc Howe and Bernie Aldrich, all died earlier.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ker Westerlund Funeral Home, 57 High St., Brattleboro. Committal will be held in the spring.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
