Celia (DeMedio) Ferrara

February 4, 1917 ~ February 6, 2015

Ms. Ferrara passed away peacefully Friday, February 6, 2015, in Lawton at 98 years of age.

Celia was born February 4, 1917 in Erie, PA. to John and Rose DeMedio.

Her passion in life was family first.

Celia married Nunzie P. Ferrara in 1946. To that union four children were born; Joseph, John, Debbie, and Char.

She was always ready to go on any occasion. Ms. Ferrara loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celia was a devoted homemaker and loved school activities and all sports events.

She leaves many fond memories of family gatherings and a legacy of her four children; one brother, Joe DeMedio of Erie, PA; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Ferrara was preceded in passing by her husband, Nunzie; a brother, Tony; and a sister, Julia.
