In Tika's childhood she attended Payton Elementary School, Peyton, Colo.. Her bubbly personality was enjoyed by her school friends as she was a cheerleader at her school. Tika and her sister Mykalah played violin at Longfellow and would often entertain the family by playing at family barbecues. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 2011.
Martika was known for her joyful personality and brilliant smile. She loved to sing and dance and found comfort in music. These attributes are carried on in her son, Davonte James. Many memories of the love and joy she shared with her son are in our hearts. Tika enjoyed taking Davonte to the park as well as sharing her love of music with her son. They also shared a love of food and would often times be found in her mother's kitchen eating honey buns, filling their bodies and their spirits.
