He was born July 18, 1930, in Caldwell, Kan., to Melo and Frances Buresh Ferda and died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Enid.
Surviving are wife, Rose of Wakita; children, Debra Martin of Denton, Texas, and Shirley McCurry of Ponca City; siblings, Johnnie Ferda of Bluff City, Kan., and Dorothy Williamson of Medford; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
