Lt. Colonel Steven Fell (Ret), age 71 of Edmond, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Norman. Steve was born July 19, 1952 in Bloomington, Illinois, the youngest of four children born to Edward George Fell and Bernadine E. (Martin) Fell. A proud Patriot, Steve joined the United States Army, later transferring to the United States Air Force. A career military man, he traveled the world and all over the continental United States. Steve served many years in Counter Intelligence and as a Special Agent for OSI. He retired as Lt. Colonel after a long and distinguished career.
He married the love of his life, Amy (Warren) Gray on October 17, 2001 in Okla. City. They were set up on a blind date through mutual friends, and the rest as they say is history. When he wasn’t working, Steve enjoyed biking and never missed a chance for a round of golf. He enjoyed a cold beer, and treasured his family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Bernadine Fell and his siblings, brother George Fell and sisters Judy Harmon and Mary Quinn.
Steve is survived by: his loving wife, Amy Fell of the home; children, Scott Fell of Birmingham, AL, Steven Fell of Birmingham, AL, Ryan Gray and wife Stacy of Edmond, Katie Mangus and husband Greg of Edmond, Evan Gray and wife Adriana of Okla. City and Collin Gray of Okla. City; 5 grandchildren, Ashton, Everett, Lincoln, Julian and Eleanor and a host of other family and friends.
