Annie Dellave (Schumann) Feasel

Annie Dellave (Schumann) Feasel
March 8, 1926 ~ May 28 2016

Annie Dellave Feasel, born March 8, 1926 in Ragtown Oklahoma, made her transition from this life at the age of 90 years old on May 28 2016, from her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Annie was born Annie Dellave Schumann, to parents Lewis Allen Schumann and Laura Jane (Cooper) Schumann. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald A. Feasel, one son, David Lee Feasel, one daughter, Laura Beatrice Harrison, one sister, Lillian Hudson, brothers, Clyde, Buster, Archie, Chester and Mac Hudson, Lewis John Schumann and William Newton Schumann.

She is survived by one sister, Dolly D. Kester of Stilwell, daughters Lela Allen Samargis and husband Frank of Stilwell, Evelyn Braly and husband Ron of Stilwell, three sons, Dale Ray Trammel of Emmett Idaho, Denny Leroy Feasel of Emmett Idaho and Darrell A. Feasel of Bandera Texas.

Annie was the proud matriarch of a large family of five living generations. She had 7 children, 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren for a total of 86.

Early in her life, her family moved from Oklahoma to Southern California, where they settled for many years in El Cajon, California. She was an avid fisherman and in her midlife she was fortunate enough to travel around the western United States with her family, exploring every river and creek they could find. She loved to camp out and often spent summers with her family camped out on a river bank, cooking over a campfire, washing on a rub board and panning for gold. The best word to describe our mother was tomboy. She taught many of her grandsons and granddaughters to fish. She was a talented artist, whether with a paint brush, oils or wood carvings, a crochet hook, a sewing machine and even in her kitchen. She produced works of art for all of us. In her quiet simple ways, she left a mark on all of us and touched our lives. We are truly blessed to have had our mother for so long. She will be with us always
