Warren L. Faulk

December 8, 1952 ~ June 24, 2008

Warren Lee Faulk, resident of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 55.

Warren was born the son of Billy George Faulk and Lillian Lee Huddleston Faulk on December 8, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1971. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country from 1971 to 1975. Warren was later employed as a heat and air technician at Stolhand Heating and Air Conditioning in Ponca City. He then left Stolhand in 2004 to work for the Ponca City School System as a heat and air tech HVAC until the time of his passing. On May 3, 1989, Warren married Susan Lynn Fahrney in Ponca City. The couple just celebrated 19 years of marriage. Warren enjoyed the outdoors, and he could fix just about anything that was broken. Warren was a kind hearted man who always helped others in any way he could. He loved being with his family and he loved his grandchildren most of all.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Faulk of Ponca City, Oklahoma; son, Bill Shaw and wife, Leah of Ponca City, Oklahoma; daughters, Natasha Schuster of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Monique Mason and husband, Glenn of Ponca City; brother, Brad Faulk and wife, Angela of Beaumont, Texas; aunt, Evelyn Huddleston of Ponca City, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; sister-in-law, Gina Faulk of Ponca City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Warren's life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 5 Acre, 6350 N. Union, 2 189; miles North of Hubbard Road. Chaplain Mike Sweetman will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 N. Union, Suite 103, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601 or to the American Cancer Society, 8400 Silver Crossing St., Suite H, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73132. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive visitors at the home, 117 E. Fresno, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
