Arlene (Rhody) Farris

November 17, 1937 ~ December 20, 2012

No services are scheduled for Arlene Farris of Marietta who passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her residence at the age of 75.

Mrs. Farris, affectionately known by her family and friends as Nanaw, was born November 17, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Ed and Ann Allison Rhody. She had been a resident of Love County for the past 14 years, previously making her home in Fort Worth.

Mrs. Farris was a homemaker and had also been employed as a secretary for an insurance agency. She was an avid reader.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two sons, Troy Dale Farris and Tommy Joe Farris, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Thomas Dunn of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Robin Farris of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Suzanne, Troy, Andrea, Brandon and T.J.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
