Ruby Mae (Veazey) Farmer
May 5, 1936 ~ December 20, 2016

Ruby Mae (Veazey) Farmer daughter of Edward and Beulah (Yates) Veazey was born May 5, 1936 in Eldorado, Oklahoma, and departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on December 20, 2016 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 80.

Ruby married Marion Emery Farmer on June 8, 1952 in Baron. To this union two boys were born; Charlie and Robert.

Ruby worked as a nurse's aide for some years and also as a waitress at Doc Beans Restaurant to help support her family and later enjoyed being a housewife and working on their family farm. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite TV shows and reading her bible.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Beulah Veazey, her loving husband of 35 years, sisters; Mary Darby, Dorothy Buster, Bobby Veazey, Betty Veazey, daughters in law; Betty Farmer and Brenda Farmer and granddaughter; Christy Jo Farmer.  She is survived by a very loving family that includes her sons Charles Farmer of Westville, Robert Lee Farmer and wife Rojeanna of Stilwell, brothers; William Veazey and wife Charlene of Choctaw, Chester Veazey and wife Mary of Sperry, Freddie Veazey and wife Fran of Talahina, and Thomas Veazey and wife Barbara of Simi Valley, Calif. three grandchildren; Charles Emery Farmer Jr. of Oklahoma City,

Robbie Farmer and wife Angela of Gentry, Ark., Matt Farmer and wife Samantha of Stilwell, three great-grandchildren; Jodi and Shawn Sanders, Tina and Chad Workman, Dusty Brown and Karisha Hudson all of Stilwell, five greatgrandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Farmer, Autumn and Braxton McMurtrey and Hannah Stewart, eight step greatgrandchildren, and three step great-greatgrandchildren, several other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Memorial services were held, Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Honey Hill Church with Brother Glenn Hopkins officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
