Peggy Lou (Franklin) Fanning, age 89, a Coalgate resident, passed away on April 15, 2020 at Coalgate, Oklahoma. She was born on March 13, 1931, to Bernard Brashears and Bertha Estella (Dobson) Franklin, at Midway, OK. Peggy attended Midway School for 8 years, 4 years at Coalgate High School graduating in 1948. She then attended Oklahoma State University for 2 years. Peggy worked as Veterinary assistant for over 20 years and worked at the ASCS office. Peggy married Ernest Paul Fanning on Oct. 3, 1950 in Ada, OK., he preceded her in death on February 9, 2015. Peggy was a member of the Church of Christ, OHCA & Eastern Star. She loved playing cards, going to all day auctions & garage sales.

Great Grandchildren: Atty Fanning of Coalgate, OK, Emery Jo Fanning, Eastyn Fanning both of Stillwater, OK
Sydney Williams of Pittsburg, OK., Nakona Burns of Pittsburg, OK
Along with numerous other relatives & many friends
