April 12, 1971 ~ October 20, 2022 (age 51)

Melissa M. Falter, 51, of Shawnee, beloved daughter, sister, nana, aunt, niece and most importantly mother, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Shawnee.

She was born to Bill Falter and Dorothy Fultz on April 12, 1971 in Fresno, California.

Melissa worked most of her life in healthcare taking care of the elderly.

She loved God, going to the beach, riding motorcycles and spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She will be missed dearly.

Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Dorothy Fultz; father, Bill Falter; her children, James D. Holt, Stephen F. Holt and wife Bailey, and Kimberly R. Belvin and husband Justin; her grandchildren, Brittani M. Belvin, Carlie J. Belvin, Bo Holt, and Adeline Pearl Holt; sister, Kristy Hitsman and husband Gary; brother, Brian J. Falter; aunt Nancy and husband Walter; nephews, David Jenkins and Sekope Haley; niece, Taylor Falter; numerous cousins; and other extended family as well as many friends.

No formal services will be held at this time. Family will hold private graveside services at a later date.
