Bobbie Lea Ex, daughter of Virgil Charles and Clemmie (Dillahunty) Carter was born on January 15, 1928 in Greenwood, Arkansas and departed this life on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 89 years of age.
She lived for serving the Lord. Along with her husband, Bobbie helped build and grow Elm Grove Church. She was a children's church teacher. Bobbie wrote her own lesson and flash cards, illustrating them herself. She was a wonderful homemaker. Bobbie enjoyed sewing, embroidery and entering the county fair. She was a great cook and mother to her family.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband: Windel Dewitt Ex, parents: Virgil and Clemmie Carter, children: James Ex, Windel Dewayne Ex and John Michael Ex.
A large and loving family survives her that includes her children: Barbara Lea Gatewood and husband Jerry Wayne, Stilwell, Vivian Radebaugh and husband Floyd of Marion, Ohio, Leann Murphy of Republic, Mo., Violet Clenney and husband, Don of Greenwood, Ark., Mary Fay Saba of Pflugerville, Texas, Paul Glen Ex and wife Sheila of Norman, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, sister: Jimmie Burkpile of Arkhoma..
She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Monday, August 28, 2017 at Elm Grove Church, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Brother Eugene Kester officiating .Interment followed at Hall Cemetery, Natural Dam, Arkansas under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
