Frankie L. (Reeves) Evans

April 22, 1925 ~ February 4, 2004

Funeral services will be conducted by Peters Funeral Home of Wasco on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at the Pentecostal Church of God in McFarland for Frankie Evans, age 78, of McFarland, who passed away on February 4, 2004, at her residence in McFarland. Rev. Larry Blevins will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.

Frankie Evans was born April 22, 1925, the daughter of John W. and Mary L. Reeves in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She married William Cleo Evans on January 1, 1944, in Altus, OK. They came to California in 1946. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Frankie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Cleo Evans; daughters, Barbara Bowles and husband, Seth Nicklas and Nelda McLaughlin and husband, Lawrence; sisters, Alice Reich, Ollie Gentry and Alphia Evans; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Reeves and sister, Lila Ross.

The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice for the wonderful care given their mother.
