The memorial services celebrating the life of Gary "JJ" Estes will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday September 30, 2017 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Vines officiating. Complete Cremation and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born April 24, 1953 to Warren "Bud" and Norma Jean Estes in Enid, Oklahoma and left this life September 27, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Enid for most of his school years then moved with his family to San Antonio, Texas and attended John J. High School graduating in 1971. He returned to Enid and worked for Oklahoma Floral then Enid Rent-all. He was a grader operator for the City of Enid, he continued working as a heavy equipment operator for many years for various oilfield companies and most recently for Garfield County. In 1988, he married his wife of 27 years Cindy. He loved his Boxer Brinny, stock car racing, fishing, operating heavy equipment and most of all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Cindy of the home, his mother Jean Quiggle, one daughter, Andrea Kubitscheck and husband Aaron, of Canyon, TX; 2 sons, Kenny Morris and wife Rachelle, of Enid; and Rocky Fisher and wife Kala of, Newalla, OK.; eight grandchildren, Madyson and Gabriel Kubitscheck, Jace and Kade Morris, Austin and Kolton Fisher, Devin and Sean Taylor; one brother Randy Estes and wife Carla of Enid, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Bud, stepfather Jack Quiggle and his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with Brown-Cumming Funeral Home serving as Custodians of the funds.
