Beatrix V. "Sue" (Jenkins) Ester

April 1, 1921 ~ January 12, 2007

Beatrix V."Sue" Ester, a Kern county resident for 16 years, passed away on January 12,2007. Sue was born on April 1, 1921, in Healdton, Oklahoma to James and Osa Jenkins

Sue worked for Knott's Berry Farm from 1949 till 1969 as supervisor in the Chicken Dinner Restarurant. After that,she worked at Anaheim Memorial Hospital, where she was awarded "Employee of the Year". She retired in 1986.

Sue will be remembered for her kindness, honesty and lovingness to her family and to all who knew her. She had attended First Assembly of God and loved to tell everyone she met about Teen Challenge. Sue was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Larrie, her siblings; Joseph, Perk, Dick, Keck and sisterVernice. Sue is survived by her daughter Carol Tidwll and son-in-law Rod, grandsons Michael and Matthew and granddaughter Summer and her husband Andy and great grandchild Michael, to be born in May 2007, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service on Wednesday at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, California. Anyone wishing to make a donation in lieu of flowers is requested to donate to Kern county County Teen Challenge P.O. Box 1011 Bakersfield, CA 93302
