Stephen Salvador Espinoza

August 27, 1965 ~ May 23, 2022

Stephen Salvador Espinoza, 56, of Marietta, OK passed away on May 23, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK. He was born August 27, 1965 in Carlsbad, CA, to Mary Rose (Greigo) and Rey Espinoza.

Stephen lived in various locations as a younger boy due to his dad being in the U.S. Army. While they were stationed in Italy, he played semi-pro soccer. In 2009, Stephen relocated to the area from North Carolina. He was a Dallas Cowboy fanatic, and he landed his dream job in 2010 working security at the AT&T Stadium. Stephen loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to carry on his memory are his son, Rey Espinoza of California; daughters, Felice Espinoza of Marietta and Shiann Espinoza of Wichita Falls, TX; father, Rey Espinoza of Seven Pines, CA; mother of his children Amanda Espinoza; friend, Jeania Turner; brother, Sammy Espinoza and wife Teresa of Mesquite, TX; one sister; aunt, Adele Ginn of Mayesville, NC; grandchildren, Gunner, Zander, Gage, and Nathaniel; numerous family members in California; and his AT&T Stadium Family.

Stephen is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Espinoza.

Services to celebrate Stephen’s life will be held at a later date at the Thackerville Community Church with Pastor Chris Mauldin officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
