Zinda Zane Ennis, age 62, a Coalgate, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, June 24, 1958, to Arthur and Barbara Ann (Wilson) Thompson, at Antlers, OK. Zinda passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK.
She attended Farris Public School and Atoka High School. Zinda was a housewife, homemaker and also worked as a CNA for a few years.
She married Wendell Earl Nichols on April 28, 1989 in Coalgate, OK. She later went on to marry James Lowell Ennis on Friday, April 27th, 2007 at Coalgate, OK. Zinda was raised Baptist and attended the Coalgate Nazarene Church. She loved riding horses, being outdoors, growing flowers, listening to music, being a mom and especially loved being a grandmother.
Zinda is survived by her children, Lindsay Gaylor and husband David of Coalgate, OK, Atlanta Graves and husband William of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Nicholas Horn, Maci Gaylor, Bryarlynn Zane Graves; sisters, Quetha Milam of Oklahoma City, OK, Tammy Thompson of Atoka, OK, Sheila Thompson of Atoka, OK; brother, John Thompson of Antler, OK; aunts, Johnnie Wilson of Paris, TX, Louise Crews of Lane, OK; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Zinda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Barbara Ann (Wilson) Thompson; mom and dad, Carol and Billy Wilson; brothers, Carl Dale Thompson, Jackie Thompson; first husband, Wendell Nichols; second husband, James Ennis
