Golden "Ann" Englis was born on August 20, 1918, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Frank and Eulalia Burt Rice, and passed from this life on November 4, 2017, in Enid, Oklahoma.
Ann graduated from Alma, Arkansas, High School and then married Clarence C. (Bill) Englis on December 25, 1941.
Ann and Bill moved to Perry in 1959, where she was a homemaker and loving wife.
Ann was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary for over 70 years.
Ann is survived by her niece, Marjorie Bryan of Hennessey, Oklahoma; nephew, Keith Englis of Springfield, Missouri; great-nephews and great-nieces, Robert and Brenda Bryan, David and Linda Bryan, all of Hennessey, Oklahoma; Cheryl and John Bizzell of Enid, Oklahoma; and Lisa and Larry Copenhaver of Aline, Oklahoma; and her Godchild, Judy Bartlett of Bethany, Oklahoma.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eulalia Rice; husband, Bill Englis; and nephew, Bruce Bryan.
Visitation is from the hour of 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma.
Graveside service for Ann is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas, Kansas, with arrangements made by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
The family would like the thank the staff of Greenbrier Village for the loving care Ann has received there since 2014.
Memorials may be given to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, or the charity of choice.
