Pryor-
Jimmie Ray Englehardt, born on April 26th, 1938, in Adair,
Oklahoma, passed away on February 2nd, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma, at the age
of 87. Jim led a life characterized by his dedication to his family and his
love of the outdoors.
Jim and Verda married on July 12, 1961, in Madison County, Arkansas. Their union was filled with love and companionship, which remained strong throughout their many years together.
Jim is remembered as a hardworking, dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather by his family. He treasured spending time with his grandchildren and shared his love of the outdoors with his family. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He was creative and loved to work with his hands creating unique treasures which he would share with his family. He passes this passion on to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Matthew Englehardt and his fiancé Sarah Lasater of Salina OK and Kim Hair and her fiancé Clint Holman of Pryor OK. His Grandchildren Kelcey Vann and her husband Austin Vann of Claremore OK, Chad Englehardt and his wife Whitney Englehardt of Pryor OK, Brittany Englehardt of Salina OK, Kaira Russell and her husband Jake Russell of Pryor OK, Wyatt Casto of Pryor OK, Emily Casto of Rose OK and Alexis Hair of Locust Grove OK.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2026, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor. To leave a personal message, please visit his guest book at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
