Wesley Augustus Engelke entered this world on May 13, 2005 to the waiting, loving, and grieving arms of his parents Michael and Amanda Engelke, who knew he was safe in the arms of Jesus surrounded by loving grandparents.
He is now being fussed over by grandmothers while playing in the gardens. Grandpa's are making plans - to shoot at blackbirds in the milo fields, ride around on tractors, and to go fishing. To his namesake (Wessie) he will say - "I'm little Pee Wee let's go run rabbits".
Wesley leaves behind his parents Michael and Amanda of Tuttle, Paternal grandparents Fred and Debra Engelke, Tuttle; Maternal grandparents Sheila and Tom Dutton, OKC, Nathan and Mary Ferrell, OKC; Great grandparents Ruth Williams of Blanchard, Oleta and J. Robinson, and Dorothy Dutton, OKC. Great grandfather Earl Ferrell of Prague, OK; Great-Great grandparents E.W. and Irene Wilkerson and Felmer Martin of OKC; Uncles and aunts: Allen Engelke of San Diego, CA, David and Amiee Ferrell, and Jennifer Dutton, OKC; numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins and family friends.
He was with us for a brief 7-1/2 months as we awaited his birth in July 2005. He will touch our lives and live in our hearts forever as he waits for us "On the far side banks of Jordan" with all our other loved ones.
