William Buck Elston

September 2, 1931 ~ June 4, 2001

Funeral services for William Buck Elston, 69, of Seabrook, South Carolina, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Copeland Funeral Home Chapel, Beaufort, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at Copeland Funeral Home, Beaufort.

William Buck Elston was born September 2, 1931, in Chickasha, the son of the late Jack Henry Elston and Jessie Matilda Jones Elston. He died on Monday, June 4, 2001, at his resident in Seabrook.

Mr. Elston was a retired construction engineer and estimator. He was the project manager for the recently completed renovations at the University of South Carolina - Beaufort. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Beaufort, where he had formerly served as an usher.

He is survived by son William B. Elston Jr., of Seabrook, South Carolina; son Matthew Elston, of Coral Gables, Florida; daughter Elizabeth Elston, of Seabrook, South Carolina; brother James R. Elston, of Chickasha.Interment will be in Beaufort National Cemetery, under the direction of Copeland Funeral Home.
