Tommy Lee Elsheimer was born in Pampa, Texas on August 25, 1944, an offspring of the late Charles Louis & Zelma Lucille (Jones) Elsheimer. He passed from this life at his home on October 25, 2024 at the age of 80 years & 2 months. Early in his childhood the family moved to Drumright where Tommy was raised, baptized at the First Baptist Church, and in 1962 graduated from Drumright High School.
On February 1, 1964 he married Janice Lorraine Ritter and they made their home in the Drumright community for many years. Tommy made sure the family time was fun and adventurous to include boating, fishing, camping, family gatherings, & memorable holidays. He loved animals and the Koi Pond in the back yard gave him viewing pleasure without leaving home. Eagles were appreciated whether it was in pictures, wall hangings, shelf décor, or looking for them yearly feeding from the river under the Pensacola Dam.
Tommy had worked for Cities Service Gas, which later became Williams Natural Gas, for 35 years until his retirement. He was a man that certainly proved he was put on this earth to provide and work as he did until a final retirement in his 70’s after he and Janice went from job location to job location for many years. It can be remembered and known that Tommy Lee Elsheimer was a hardworking, loving, caring, upstanding, & honest gentleman & many will say it was a pleasure being around him and he will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Brothers-in-law: Ralph Ritter & Ruben Ritter; & Sister-in-law: Melba (Cearley) Elsheimer.
Tommy is survived by his wife: Janice Lorraine Elsheimer of the home; Children: Tammy Pameticky & husband Tommy of Ketchum – Roger Elsheimer & wife Patti of Arkansas; Grandson: Alex Elsheimer of Tulsa; Brother: Ronnie Elsheimer, Sr. & wife Peggy of Drumright; Nephews: Ronnie Elsheimer, Jr of Drumright – Brian Ritter of Florida; Niece: Becky Marrs of Drumright; & several cousins, other relatives, & friends.
