Memorial services for Ricky E. Elschide, 62, of Guthrie, OK, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Guthrie with The Rev. Father James Wickersham officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Ricky went to be with our Lord on September 22, 2021. He was born December 12, 1958 to Clyde and Wilma Jean Elschide in Evansville, IN. Ricky had an Associates Degree in Business. He had many years of experience in the HVAC industry and also outside sales. He was a refrigeration specialist and was very passionate about helping his customers. Ricky worked for Pameco, NTCC, Bradford Industrial Supply, and Standard Supply. Ricky married his sweetheart, Jacqueline, on Novmenber 21, 2008. They moved to Guthrie in 2009. The family attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Guthrie. He enjoyed many hobbies, with fishing being at the top of the list. He also enjoyed gardening, playing guitar, spending time with his son Connor and stepdaughter Monica, and doting on his grandkids, Bailee and Tony.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Jacqueline Elschide, son Connor, step-daughter Monica, and grandkids Bailee and Tony Bressler. He is also survived by a host of loved family and friends.
