Jeanne Elaine Eloe

Jeanne Eloe passed quietly, November 30, 2005 in Northridge.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lewis Eloe; as well as her two sons, Richard and his wife Jean, and their children John, Kristen, and Brent, and Dennis and his wife Michele, and their children Emiley and Tommy.

Jeanne was born in Oklahoma, but moved to Texas shortly thereafter. She lived in several Texas communities as her father pursued his ministry in the Disciples of Christ Church. She attended Phillips University where she met the love of her life, Lewis. They moved to California in 1956 and settled in Northridge. Jeanne taught elementary school for the L.A. Unified School District for 30 years.

In 1962 Jeanne and Lou began traveling worldwide with their friends. Travel was a passion in her life. For the next 40 years she toured every continent in the world and most of the countries.

Jeanne was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a trusted friend. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills. Services will be held at the Old North Church at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills on Tuesday, December 6th, at 12:30 p.m.
