Jean A. (Dishman) Ells

Jan. 10, 1924 ~ Sept. 10, 2013

ENID, OK - Jean A. Ells 89, of Enid, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in the Chapel of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate the service.

Jean was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Liberty, Neb., the daughter of Carl and Opal Dishman.

Jean married David Ells Sept. 6, 1947. They lived in several places around the world because David was in the Air Force, from which they retired. Jean was a former member of Village United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, David, and a son, Richard.

Jean is survived by a daughter, Melissa Ells of Spartenburg, S.C.; sister, Martha Fuller of Enid; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; three nephews, two nieces and a former daughter-in-law, Ann Burlison of Burlison, Tenn.
