De Ellis, a beloved family member, and resident of Denison, Texas, left this life too soon in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at the age of 57 years 5 months and 15 days. She was born on January 5, 1960 in Wilmington, Ohio to Mahlon J. and Mary (Allen) Pickett. De married Scott Ellis in Albany, Oklahoma in April of 1990.
De was an accountant for the Choctaw Nation. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Accounting. De enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her sister, Janet Boston of Albany, Oklahoma; niece, Kenna Wingfield and husband Josh of Albany, Oklahoma; great-nephews, Hunter and Kamden Wingfield; niece, Amber Owens and husband Joe of Calera, Oklahoma; aunt, June Bertram of San Marcos, Texas; and numerous cousins and friends.
Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her parents, Mahlon J. and Mary Pickett; beloved husband, Scott Ellis; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Boston.
Mrs. Ellis requested that there be no services. Her family would like to request that memorials be made in her name to the www.womenrockinc.org, a local breast cancer awareness, and early detection organization.
