Kingston, OK- Carl William Ellis Jr., passed from this life on Tuesday evening, November 11th, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Carl was born on Friday, August 7th, 1959 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Carl William Ellis and biologically mother Jewel Booker.
Carl was raised and grew up in Oklahoma City. He worked as a skilled TradeSmith throughout his life retiring in 2018. Carl married Mary Fletcher on August 15th, 2020 in Kingston but were together since 2018.
Carl was an avid fisherman and spent countless hours on the water. He enjoyed hunting and camping and spent many nights sitting around a campfire. When he was younger, he loved riding motorcycles. Carl also done some blacksmith work, making knives and swords. Carl and Mary are members of the Enos First Baptist Church.
Carl was preceded in death by his dad, Carl William Ellis; biological mother Jewel Booker; a half-brother; and grandparents, Berneice and Bill Ellis.
He is survived by his loving family, his mom Peggy Ellis; wife Mary of the home; siblings Kim Longley and husband Vern, and Wayne Ellis and wife CeCe; daughters Danielle Ellis and spouse Ricardo Peralta, Kristina Barrientos and husband Ismael, and Cassandra Thies and husband Bradley; granddaughter Essence Bell and husband Joey; grandson Ethan Jay; a grandson on the way Charles Thies; 2 great-grandbabies Jayden Bell and his sibling on the way; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Carl’s family has chosen cremation. A celebration of Carl’s life will be scheduled in the next several weeks by his family.
