Dorothy Mae (Miller) Elliott

Dorothy Mae Elliott of Yale, Oklahoma passed from this life on July 10, 2020 at her home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale, Oklahoma.

Dorothy was born on March 5, 1951 in Crossett, Arkansas to proud parents James and Willie Mae (Riles) Miller. She grew up in Crossett attending school and graduating with the Class of 1969. After graduation she married the love of her life, James Elliott on April 4, 1970. They made their home in Yale, Oklahoma and enjoyed traveling many places until settling down to start their family. James and Dorothy were blessed with two sons, Lee and Patrick. Dorothy stayed home and raised the boys until they graduated, then she enjoyed traveling with James again until his retirement. She was a member of Lifeline Assembly in Cushing.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mary McDonald.

She is survived by her husband, James of the home; sons, Lee Elliott and Michelle Pittman of Yale, OK and Patrick Elliott of Cushing, OK; grandsons, Cade Durham, Cale Elliott, Zeke Elliott, and Gunner Elliott all of Yale, OK; two sisters, Rose Miller of Crossett, AR and Frances Riles of Monroe, LA; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
