Brenda Rachelle (Walker) Elliott

Brenda Rachelle (Walker) Elliott
April 16, 1963 ~ July 25, 2020

Brenda Rachelle Elliott was born on April 16, 1963 in Ada, Oklahoma to Jerry and Juanita “June” (Allen) Walker. She passed away on July 25, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 57.

Brenda grew up in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated from Classen High School in 1981. She married Danny Paul Elliott on August 16, 1985. They were happily married for 33 years when he preceded her in death on October 19, 2018. Brenda loved spending time outdoors, caring for animals, and cooking for her family, (she was an excellent cook, just like her mom.) She had a knack for water skiing and loved to travel to Lake Eufaula and Colorado. But most of all, she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Brenda worked at Oklahoma Graphics many years ago which is where she met husband Danny. She was a Patient Accounts Specialist at Deaconess Hospital for over twenty years before becoming an Admissions Representative for Integris Baptist. She took pride in her work and had great compassion for the patients and coworkers she worked with.

Brenda was a dedicated mother and treasured her children. She especially loved her role as “Nanny” and found immense joy in being with her grandkids. Her personality was effervescent, and her laugh was contagious. She never met a stranger and seemed to make friends everywhere she went. She exuded kindness and had a huge heart for those that were experiencing difficult times - she would give you the shirt off her back and the food from her plate if you needed.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother June, husband Danny, and two children, Bethany Rachelle and Matthew William Elliott. She is survived by her father, Jerry; brothers, Donnie Walker and wife Renee of Oklahoma City, Brian Walker and wife Teri of Yukon; children, Justin Elliott and wife Justine of Littleton, CO, Erick Elliott of Crescent, OK, Chris Elliott and wife Jennifer of Moore, OK, Andrea Littlecreek of Oklahoma City; 7 grandchildren, Marissa Elliott, Karlee Snowdon and husband Taylor, Lane and Caden Elliott, Josie and Drew Littlecreek, Billy Elliott, and one granddaughter on the way; 2 great-grandchildren, Barrett Elliott and Beckham Snowdon; 2 puppies, Thor and Lily; and countless relatives and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

All who knew and loved Brenda will never forget her grit, grace, humor, and overflowing love.

A special thank you to Donnie and Renee Walker and Brian and Teri Walker for your loving kindness and caring for Brenda.

Memorial services will be Friday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. at North Church

Danny Paul Elliot

Danny Paul Elliot
September 11, 1948 ~ October 19, 2018

Danny Paul Elliott was born on September 11, 1948 in Chickasha, OK to Bill Elliott and Helen (Cornwell) Elliott. He left this world for his eternal home in glory on October 19, 2018 in Bethany, OK at the age of 70.

Danny grew up in the area around Tuttle, OK and graduated from Tuttle High School. He married Brenda Rachelle (Walker) Elliott on August 16, 1985. They were happily married for 33 years. Danny had a strong affection for the outdoors all his life. His greatest joy in the outdoors was fishing. He loved to go fishing and it was even better when he was fishing with his children. Danny also enjoyed taking the boys hunting. He and Brenda made several trips up to Colorado for the purpose of fishing and to simply be in Colorado.

Danny tried to be involved with his children as much as he could while they were growing up. He even took on the role of soccer coach just to be involved with them. He took great pride in his grandchildren as well and loved having them over to his house for sleepovers. The sleepovers were great fun for the grandkids and for Danny and Brenda.

Over the years, Danny worked at a number of places. TG&Y (for those who remember that store), Oklahoma Graphics and Brown & McClure Lumber. He ran his own remodeling company for 5 years. His last place of employment was OPUBCO, from which he retired. The work he enjoyed the most was the remodeling business.

Danny Elliott was a man that no matter where he went, someone seemed to know him. If he ended up someplace where they didn’t know him, they would before he left. You could be sure that it was Danny coming by with a 7-11 Big Gulp cup in his hand.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Bethany Rachelle Elliott and Matthew William Elliott. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Andrea Michelle Littlecreek and husband, Rich of Oklahoma City; sons, Erick Scott Elliott of Oklahoma City, Christopher Paul Elliott and wife, Jennifer of Moore, OK, Justin Paul Elliott and wife, Justine of Littleton, CO; 7 grandchildren, Marissa Elliott, Karlee Snowdon and husband, Taylor, Lane Elliott, Caden Elliott, Josie Littlecreek, Drew Littlecreek and Billy Elliott; great-grandson, Barrett Elliott; sister, Joyce Thornton of Edmond, OK; brothers, Charles Mark Elliott and wife, Sherry of El Reno, OK and John Patrick Elliott of Washington; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly and the wonderful impact he made on each of their lives.

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 25 at Grand Boulevard Baptist Church.
