Kristina Scheer Ellington, 42, was born on February 24, 1984, in Midwest City and passed away on April 20, 2026, after an extended illness. She was raised in McLoud, Oklahoma by Clarice Kay and Timothy Rex Ashcraft and graduated from McLoud High School in 2002. She married the love of her life, Josh Ellington, on September 2, 2006, in Blanchard.
Kristina liked to keep things fun. She loved baking, cracking jokes, and singing, especially R&B and doing karaoke whenever she got the chance. She was always working on some kind of craft and loved going out dancing, having a good time and playing bingo.
Some of her favorite times were riding side-by-sides at Sundog in Lexington during river trips, laughing and making memories. She had a big personality and a soft spot for “rednecks with paychecks.”
Above all, she loved her family. She was extremely proud of her two sons and loved watching them grow up and play sports. She’ll be remembered for her laughter and the good times she brought with her.
Kristina is preceded in death by her father Timothy Rex Ashcraft, Grandma Rice, Clara Bozarth “Grandma B.” and husband Carl, Grandma Virginia Ashcraft, uncle Edward Scheer, and uncle Larry Scheer.
She is survived by her husband Joshua Mark Ellington and two children J.P. Ellington, and Jordan Ellington all of the home; mother Clarice Kay Ashcraft; aunt Patty Scheer; in-laws Ginger and Jackie Ellington; sister-in-law Morgan Herr; niece Debra Herr; nephew Curtis Herr; friends Jessica and Bud Buntin, Marta and John Phillips, Justin and Linda Hobbs; all her “Dakota’s Family”; and many other loved ones, family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Kristina’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Eisenhour funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
