Reva Jean Ellard

October 6, 1960 ~ February 18, 2009

Reva Jean Ellard was born on October 6, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and left this life on February 18, 2009.

Reva was the daughter of Reeves and Betty Sue (Carmichael) Ellard. She grew up in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma and graduated from Choctaw High School in 1978. She attended the Pontotoc Vocational Technical School in Ada where she obtained her LPN nursing degree.

 She was a loving and compassionate nurse who loved working with hospice patients. She was the mother of two sons, Adam Christopher Ellard and Scott Edward Horton. Reva had a life long love of music and theater. She was an accomplished piano player and was actively involved in the singing company CMSA-Heartland Opry. She was an active member of the Grand Blvd. Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

Reva is preceded in death by her parents, Reeves and Betty Sue Ellard.

She is survived by her two sons, Adam Ellard and his wife Rachel of Denver, CO; Scott Horton of Seminole, OK; two sisters Anita Brown and her husband Scott of Choctaw, OK; Teresa Murray and her husband Kevin of Hugo, OK; her fiance Gary Chyz of Ada, OK; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Reva was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who were a part of her life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:00pm at the Grand Blvd. Baptist Church.
