Ruby Lee Eldridge (nee Bostian), 86, of Burkburnett Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2023. Ruby was born to Grady and Vada Bostain on June 2, 1936, in Jackhorn Kentucky. During her early years the family moved to Detroit Michigan where Ruby would grow up and meet the love of her life Gerald Eldridge. Gerald and Ruby married in Detroit on July 10, 1956. Gerald and Ruby welcomed three children Darliene, Chris and Tamatha. Ruby worked as a cook in Lawton public schools where she enjoyed working with children. In 1976 the family moved to Oklahoma where they would eventually retire.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband.
She is survived by her three children Darliene (Doy) Coapland, Chris Eldridge and Tamatha Eldridge; grandchildren James Coapland of Colorado, Danna Coapland of Colorado, Stacy Locke of Florida, Wayne Ramey of Lawton, Jay Ramey of Cache, Michael Ramey of Lawton, David (Tiffany) Gonzales of Michigan, Shane (Liz) Gonzales of Florida, Jamie Gonzalas of Oklahoma, Dustin Gonzalas of Lawton, Amber (Tony) Thorne of Michigan along with several great and great great grandchildren
