Doris Eiland

 Nov. 6, 1942 ~ April 18, 2002

CHILDRESS - Doris Eiland, 59, died Thursday, April 18, 2002.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church of Paducah with Roy Keith, pastor, officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah.

Ms. Eiland was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Lockney to Orba and Minnie Morrow Eiland. She was a respected nurse and member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Roy Gibson of Vernon; two daughters, Pat Lively of Childress and Bonnie Gilbert of Hollis, Okla.; her parents of Nacogdoches; a brother, Shannon Eiland of Hernando, Miss.; four sisters, Veda Smith of San Antonio, Pat Freeman of Jacksonville, Ark., Nita Joe Bernt of Plainview and Jackie Carne of Seattle; and six grandchildren.
