Robert “Rob” Dale Eikenbary “Rob”, 60, of Barnsdall, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Bartlesville.
Rob was born July 19 ,1964, in Yale, OK to Doug and Junita Eikenbary. He had one sister, Tammy and the family lived in Enid and Tulsa. In 1977, they moved to Barnsdall and Rob was a member of the Class of 1983.
Rob practiced Taekwondo, martial arts, and won many tournaments. He was employed as a taekwondo instructor at the Phillips 66 gymnasium.
He moved to New Orleans to pursue work and met his first wife Wanda. They had one daughter, Heather. There he worked as a sandblaster for ships and buildings in downtown New Orleans. He enjoyed the restaurants and music.
Rob then met his second wife, Chris, and they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. They had two sons, Daniel and David. Rob was self-employed as a house painter. He enjoyed living near the mountains and was an outdoorsman and Broncos fan.
Rob returned to Barnsdall several years ago. He worked for the City of Barnsdall as a heavy equipment operator. He took pride in his work for Barnsdall.
Rob had a lifelong appreciation for music. He was kindhearted and
friendly, greeting everyone with a smile.
He is preceded in death by his
parents. Doug and Junita.
Rob is survived by his sister, Tammy and her husband, Monte; three
children and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made in Rob’s honor to Hopestone Cancer Support Center of Bartlesville or
The Journey Home in Bartlesville.
No funeral service will be held.
