Ted Allen Edwards passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 78.
Ted was born on July 16, 1946, to Carl Dean and Grace Ailleen (Graham) Edwards in Tulsa, OK. Ted graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1965 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1974. Once out of the Navy, he lived with his parents his entire life assisting his father with the cattle and farm. He moved from Vinita to Bartlesville in 2021 so his cousins could assist with his care.
Ted is survived by five cousins, Becky Reynolds and husband Steve of Bartlesville, Pamela Brown and husband Gary of Wann, Carla Cooper and husband Terry of Broken Arrow, Stan Scott and wife Donna of Caney, KS and Jeff Scott of Beemer, NE.
He was preceded in death in 2008 by his father, Carl “Dean” Edwards and in 2011 by his mother, Grace Ailleen (Graham) Edwards, his aunts, Ruth Ann Scott, Wanda Newman and his uncle, W.H. “Buddy” Edwards.
Come & go visitation will be 10-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage, Dewey, OK 74029. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel.
