Katherine (Akers) Edwards
August 14, 1948 ~ February 12, 2025

Katherine A. Edwards, 76, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Free Will Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Katherine was born on Saturday, August 14, 1948, in Bartlesville, OK, to Jack and Joyce (Wittenmeyer) Akers. She graduated high school in 1968, in Fairbanks, AK. She married Paul Edwards on August 17, 1986, in Arkansas City, KS, and managed a storage facility for many years.

Katherine is survived by: her son, Mike Brunette and his wife, Erika, of Ponca City, OK; daughter, Pat Vickroy and her husband, Danny, of Ponca City, OK; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Teresa Walker and her husband, Dennis, of Sand Point, ID. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Paul; parents, Jack and Joyce; and brother, Jimmie Akers.
