Celebration of Life Service for Garolyn Edwards will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Devon Krause officiating.
Garolyn was born on February 24, 1941 in Lamont, Oklahoma to Gordon and Wanda Meyers Veach and died on February 5, 2022 in Enid.
She grew up in Tonkawa and married Marvin Edwards on July 2, 1964. They lived in Enid and moved to Garber in 1975. Garolyn was a waitress for many years and also drove the Garber School Bus. After Marvin’s death, she moved to Enid in 1990. Garolyn loved playing cards and bingo and going to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Wanda Veach, Gordon and Vera Veach; brothers, Gaylord and Bobby Veach and Harold King.
Garolyn is survived by her children, Tonya Edwards, Michael Fink, John (Cathy) Edwards, Pamela (Randy) Stebbins, Julie (Emilio Loza) Edwards, and Tony (Shelly) Edwards; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; brothers and their wives, Garold (June) Veach, and Garvin (Sharon) Veach; sisters, Brenda Lee (Allen) Teten, Connie King; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
