Bruce Martin Edwards

April 9, 1941 ~ April 19, 2006

A memorial service for Bruce Martin Edwards will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the First Presbyterian Church, Enid, at 2 p.m.

Bruce was born in Enid to Antionette and Phil Edwards April 9, 1941. He passed away April 19, 2006, at his home in Oklahoma City.

After graduating from Enid High School, he attended Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., and then received his bachelor of science from the University of Oklahoma.

He was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Bruce was a friendly, caring and personable man, who was a friend to all he met.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phil Edwards, and his sister, Claudia Edwards Medely.

Bruce is survived by his wife Vesta; his sons, Mark Edwards of Norman, and Jeff Edwards of Roulett, Texas; his mother, Anne Edwards Baker of Enid; his brother, Phil Edwards of Enid; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Cancer Society or the First Presbyterian Church in care of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
